The father of the child being baptised was deployed to Iraq a few days later. He received a Faith Chest, and as a symbol of our congregation's prayers for their family his mother received a prayer shawl.
A cake honoring the entire family was served at the reception after the service.

We had four St. Stephen's parishioners confirmed--an engaged couple and a mother and daughter. Here is Katie, our leader of Music Ministry, being confirmed. She was presented by her mother, our organist, and Fr. Curtis.

After the service, the Bishop signed Nicole's book.
